Exactly 27 years ago, the first section of the Sofia Metro was put into operation - from "Slivnitsa" to "Konstantin Velichkov".
Today, the capital's metro has 52 trains on the first and second lines and 30 on the third. 52 km. of metro lines have been built, but for the needs of Sofia, it is necessary to have at least 80 km.
