Bulgarian books donated to the Library of the US Congress

The Director of the Agency for Bulgarians Abroad, Raina Mandzhukova, provided books free of charge for the fund of the Bulgarian Department in the Library of Congress in the US, the agency announced. The donation includes specialized literature for Bulgarian communities around the world, publications of the Agency. 

It is being implemented with the assistance of Boyko Antonov - president of the organization "Bulgarian Cultural Events" headquartered in Washington, sponsor and organizer of cultural initiatives of the Bulgarian community in the USA.

"We thank Raina Mandzhukova and Boyko Antonov, a member of the League of Bulgarian Writers in the US and Around the World," wrote poet, writer, translator and vice president of the union Lyudmila Kaloyanova on Facebook. 

The League of Bulgarian Writers in the US and Around the World, headquartered in Chicago, is the successor to the Union of Bulgarian Writers in the US and Around the World, the first officially registered association of Bulgarian writers abroad.
