Weather forecast for 1 February

February begins with springlike temperatures

On Saturday, fog or low clouds will cover the plains and sheltered valleys. Minimum temperatures will be between 0 and 5°C, around 1°C in Sofia. Sunny weather will prevail during the day, with more clouds in the northeast and in the afternoon in the southwest. There will be light to moderate west-northwesterly winds in the Danube plain. Highs will be between 12 and 15°C, around 12°C in the capital.

In the mountains there will be scattered clouds, mostly high and medium. Light to moderate winds will blow from the northwest. The maximum temperature will be 7°C at 1,200 m, around 1°C at 2,000 m.

Visibility will be reduced along the Black Sea coast in the morning hours. Clouds will be patchy during the day, especially over the northern coast. Maximum temperatures will be between 11 and 15°C. The water temperature will be 8-9°C. The sea swell will be 1-2.

On Sunday, the weather will not change much. Cooling is expected from the beginning of next week.
