During the night, fog and low clouds will persist in the plains and valleys. The lowest temperatures in most areas will range from 0°C to 5°C, for Sofia around 1°. On Monday, the wind will shift from the northwest, in Eastern Bulgaria from the northeast, intensify and bring cold air. The cloud cover will increase over almost the entire country and it will start raining in some areas. As temperatures drop in the evening and overnight into Tuesday, rain will turn into snow in the higher plains, the Pre-Balkans and northeastern Bulgaria. It will be mostly sunny over the northwestern parts of the country. By 2 pm, temperatures will range from 4°C-5°C in the northeastern areas to 12°C in parts of Southern Bulgaria, for Sofia around 7°C.
In the mountains, it will be cloudy with snow showers. There will be moderate to strong northwesterly winds. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be around 4°C, at 2,000 meters minus 2°C - minus 3°C.
It will be mostly cloudy along the Black Sea coast with light rain showers. There will be moderate to strong northerly and northeasterly wind. Daytime highs will be range from 6°C to 9°C. The sea water temperature is 8°C-9°.
