On the occasion of the upcoming National Holiday - March 3 and 147 years since the Liberation of Bulgaria from Ottoman rule, the Regional Library in the city of Yambol is conducting the campaign "Let's Read for Bulgaria". The goal is to encourage reading from an early age and create interest in books. The children's department at the "Georgi Sava Rakovski" community center also sets a challenge for children - to have read at least two books from the library's collection, which tell about Bulgarian history and the beauties of Bulgaria.

The collection of the Regional Library in Yambol numbers about 226,000 books, out of which more 40,000 are titles for children. "The children of Yambol read, like all other children. Last year we had about 1,300 readers, which shows that a large percentage of the children of Yambol are interested in books," says Daniela Hristova from the children's department of the library.
