Bulgaria’s Minister of Energy Zhecho Stankov met, in Washington, with Laura Lochman, US Acting Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of Energy Resources.
The two discussed the construction of a vertical gas corridor for diverse and sustainable gas deliveries towards Eastern, Southeastern and Central Europe. “We expect to obtain a construction permit, by the end of the month, for the Kulata-Kresna section, shortly after which we plan to break ground,” Minister Stankov said.
