The national strike in Belgium, scheduled for 13 February, will lead to flight cancellations from/to Sofia from/to Brussels and Charleroi. Another flight is being diverted towards the Netherlands, BNR’s correspondent in Brussels Anguelina Piskova reports, citing information available on the websites of the two airports. The flights from Sofia to Zaventem airport at 7.40 PM local time, as well as the flight in the opposite direction at 8.20 PM have been cancelled. For now, the landing of a Ryanair flight at Charleroi at 7 PM Belgian time has not been cancelled though the takeoff in the direction of Sofia at 7.25 PM has. The Wizz Air Sofia-Brussels-Sofia flight has been diverted towards Maastricht in the Netherlands, where it will land at 4.30 PM local time, and will take a return flight at 3.05 PM.
