A wounded Bulgarian citizen remains among the Hamas hostages in Gaza

Bulgarian diplomacy, without showing off, is using its influence to free the Bulgarian citizens who are hostages of Hamas in Gaza. We thanked the Bulgarian Ambassador Slavena Gergova and the EU Ambassador to Israel Dimitar Tsanchev, the Bulgarian people and government for the moral support of the families of the kidnapped, who have Bulgarian roots. This was stated by Asher Arpaz, Deputy Chairman of the Society of Jews from Bulgaria, to the Bulgarian National Radio correspondent in the Jewish state Fenya Dekalo.

“I know that not with words, but with efforts through diplomatic channels, they tried to help with their return. But this is not an easy task,” Arpaz added.

Among the released are Mirav Tal and Daniel Gilboa, who have Bulgarian citizenship. A 20-year-old young man with a Bulgarian passport remains missing, who was seriously injured when he was captured at the age of 19.
