Artificial intelligence is now built entirely from classical computers with algorithms, while artificial intelligence based on quantum computers will be much faster and more functional, says doctoral student Ivo Mihov from the Center for Quantum Technologies at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", the largest academic institution in Bulgaria.
Speaking to the Hristo Botev channel on the Bulgarian National Radio, the young scientist said that over the past year, the work at the Center for Quantum Technologies at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" has been growing. From 10 people, there are now 25 specialists working there. The main tasks they are working on are quantum computers, quantum simulation, quantum sensors and quantum communications.

Branislav Ilic has managed to repeat a successful experiment with quantum teleportation 6 times. No such experiment has been done before, with such accuracy, and he is preparing a publication about his discovery, Mihov announced.

Unlike classical household computers, quantum computers use processes occurring at the level of quantum entanglement, superposition, and superconductivity.
