The Bulgarian government has extended the temporary protection of displaced persons from Ukraine in Bulgaria by one year, starting from March 4. Re-registration will last until April 30.

Regardless of their address registration in the Plovdiv Region, Ukrainian citizens can submit documents at the designated points in Plovdiv - in the buildings of the Second, Fifth and Sixth District Departments, as well as at the police departments in Asenovgrad and Karlovo.

According to Natalia Ellis, chairwoman of the “Ukraine Support & Renovation” Foundation, the Ukrainian community in Plovdiv and the region numbers about 10,000 people.
