Next week, the Podkrepa Trade Union will begin a series of meetings with parliamentary groups in the National Assembly on the 2025 state budget, BTA reported. During the talks, the unions will offer their views on the increase in salaries in the budget sphere.

According to Podkrepa Trade Union, the increase in salaries in the administration should be at least 15 percent. In addition, the union will propose an increase in individual salaries in the administration under a mechanism different from the one applied by the generally accepted regulation. The current mechanism increases inequalities and certain categories of people receive higher salaries than the head of the specific administration, elected by the National Assembly.

Over ten professional organizations are members of the Podkrepa Trade Union, which are present in the administration and the cases are different everywhere.

After the talks in parliament, if the demands of the workers' representatives are not heard, the unions will also consider the appropriate actions.
