Bulgaria will participate in the 2025 Osaka World Expo with a national pavilion, where Bulgarian students will work, as proposed by the Ministry of Tourism. Bulgaria will have its own pavilion of the highest class – type "A", said the Ministry of Tourism. In an official letter, Bulgaria’s Minister of Tourism Miroslav Borshosh invited students to submit their applications for participation.

"The Bulgarian state can give our students a unique opportunity to represent our country at the 2025 Osaka World Expo. We will collect the nominations from universities for students majoring in ''Tourism'' and ''Japanese Studies'' and select 60 young Bulgarians to work at the Bulgarian pavilion during the six-month duration of the 2025 Osaka World Expo", said Minister Borshosh.

The 2025 Osaka World Expo is expected to be visited by over 28 million people, 90% of whom will be from Japan.
