The Sofia Philharmonic will perform for the third time at the Wiener Musikverein Golden Hall

On March 17, the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra and its principal conductor Nayden Todorov will once again perform at the legendary Wiener Musikverein Golden Hall in Vienna, Austria. Maestro Todorov will conduct Nino Rota's Concerto for Trombone and Orchestra with soloist Sergio Manteiga. Manteiga is a promising young trombonist, currently a member of the Basque National Orchestra.

The soloist in Sergei Prokofiev's Violin Concerto No. 2 in G minor will be the virtuoso American Fabiola Kim – a successful concert artist and chamber musician. Fabiola Kim has worked with some of the world’s most renowned orchestras. Her album 1939, recorded with the Munich Symphony Orchestra, has received high praise from BBC Music Magazine, Gramophone, and The Strad Magazine. The program will conclude with Felix Mendelssohn's popular Symphony No. 4 in A major, known as Italian.

The same program will be performed the day before, on March 16, at the Konzerthaus Klagenfurt – one of Austria's most significant cultural centers.Known for its exceptional acoustics and elegant architecture, the hall is a venue for concerts, opera and ballet performances and other cultural events.
