The "Vazrazhdane" party is considering submitting a motion of no confidence in the government. This was announced in Veliko Tarnovo by the leader of the party, Kostadin Kostadinov, reported BNR’s correspondent Zdravka Maslyankova. According to Kostadin Kostadinov, the reason is ''the state's inaction in clarifying the circumstances under which Bulgarian UN worker Marin Marinov died in Gaza''.

"This is a shameful act on the part of the Bulgarian government for not immediately condemning the murder of Marin Marinov, committed by the Israeli army. An extremely shameful act, which deserves a motion of no confidence", said Kostadin Kostadinov.

Today, Bulgaria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Georg Georgiev said that Israel is conducting an investigation. An investigation will also be carried out by the United Nations. In response to a journalist's question about whether Bulgaria intends to conduct its own investigation into Marin Marinov's death, Minister Georgiev replied: "At the moment, the situation in Gaza makes it extremely difficult for any country to conduct an investigation, except those already on the ground. Due to the complexity of the situation, it is very difficult to commit to deadlines or any specific parameters. Bulgaria strongly condemns any attack on humanitarian missions, diplomatic personnel and UN staff'', said Georg Georgiev.
