The prosecutor's office has served an indictment on Bozhidar Bozhanov, a member of parliament from "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria". He is accused of a crime in his capacity as Minister of Electronic Governance, related to a public procurement for nearly 18 million leva.

A day earlier, Bozhidar Bozhanov announced that he expected to be brought forward as a defendant today and described the charges against him as "propaganda".

The MP waived his immunity on March 4 this year, after it was requested by Acting Prosecutor General Borislav Sarafov.
"I am absolutely calm that this thing will fall apart in court and therefore I expect it to be brought there as quickly as possible. The accusation is absurd, things are being alleged that did not happen, I did not commit any crimes", commented Bozhidar Bozhanov in front of the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office.
