The European Public Prosecutor's Office has confirmed to BNR that Bulgarian European Prosecutor Teodora Georgieva has been temporarily suspended from office. On Wednesday, the EPPO informed the European Parliament, the Council of the EU and the European Commission that it is launching an administrative investigation into possible illegal actions by Georgieva.
