Four wins and one draw for Bulgarian players at European Women's Chess Championship

The second round of the European Women's Chess Championship on the island of Rhodes proved to be extremely successful for the Bulgarian competitors.

Viktoria Radeva won against Slovakian Andrea Bochnickova with the white pieces and with the maximum score of 2 points shared first place with 14 other chess players.

Former European champion Antoaneta Stefanova, Beloslava Krasteva and Andzhelika Nenova also achieved victories. Stefanova prevailed over Narmin Abdinova from Azerbaijan, Krasteva won against Fruzsina Varga from Hungary, and Nenova was victorious against Viktoria Nadzamova from Slovakia.

Nadya Toncheva reached a draw with the black pieces against Susanna Gaboyan from Armenia.
