Weather forecast for 8 April

Tuesday will be cold, rainy and windy, with snow showers

Overnight it will be mostly clear. Winds will decrease in many areas. Minimum temperatures will be between -5°C and 0°C, reaching -8°C in the highlands and valleys and around -7°C in Sofia.


On Tuesday there will be scattered clouds, becoming heavier in the afternoon. Snowfall is expected mainly in the Rila-Rhodope area and light rain in the foothills. Light winds will blow from west-northwest. Maximum temperatures will be between 7 and 12°C, around 9°C in Sofia.


Over the mountains, cloudiness will be variable, more significant in the afternoon hours, when there will be snow showers in some places in the Rilo-Rhodope area and the Balkan Mountains, and rain and snow in the lower parts. There will be moderate westerly winds, gusty at times in the highest areas. Maximum temperatures will be around 2°C at 1,200 metres and around minus 6°C at 2,000 metres.


Along the Black Sea coast, cloudiness will be variable, more pronounced over the northern coasts. Before noon, it will be almost clear. Around midday, light to moderate east-southeast winds will blow. Highs will be between 7° and 9°C. Water temperatures will be 8°-9°. Swell will be low.
