At a general meeting of the Central Operational Bureau and the Parliamentary Group of DPS-DPS party around the honorary chairman Ahmed Dogan, it was decided that the movement would withdraw its support for the ruling majority. As reasons, MP Valentin Tonchev pointed out that "state institutions continue to be used for repression, the judicial system is even more dependent, corruption and smuggling are flourishing". "Unfortunately, GERB, BSP and (ITN) have abandoned the cordon sanitaire and demonstrate that they serve the interests of Delyan Peevski, who single-handedly manages the Council of Ministers," Tonchev added.

After the decision of the party, the parliamentary groups of GERB - SDS, BSP and ITN came out with a joint position that Bulgaria needs a regular government that will implement policies that support the rule of law, the competitiveness of the economy, security, protection and social rights of citizens. Bulgaria's entry into the eurozone, the stabilization of public finances, and the rescue of funds under the Recovery and Resilience Plan remain the government's clear priorities, the three parties said.
