We are relying on Bulgaria for our accession to the EU, Minister of European Affairs of Montenegro Maida Gorčević said in an interview with BGNES. Chinese investments are not a threat to European integration because the lessons of the past have been learnt. There is no problem with Croatia, there are disputes inherited from the past. The closer we get to the EU, the stronger the attacks but by building strong institutions we shall be stable, he said further.

“As regards Montenegro, we are in the last phase of negotiations. Technically, we are close to closing the chapters, and we are considered to be the leading country in the process. In Sofia I will have the opportunity to meet some of my colleagues, as well as Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos to discuss important issues,” said Maida Gorčević.
