On Good Friday, the saddest day for Christians, the liturgy commemorates the suffering, crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ, who sacrificed himself for the guilt and sins of humanity. The service at the Metropolitan Cathedral "St. Nedelya" in Sofia was led by His Holiness Daniil, Patriarch of Bulgaria and Metropolitan of Sofia.
At 6:00 PM, Patriarch Daniil will lead the Service of the Burial of Christ at the "St. Nedelya" Cathedral, announced the Sofia Metropolitanate.
