The leader of "Save Sofia" Boris Bonev announced at a briefing that the regional political party is withdrawing its trust from the mayor of the capital, Vasil Terziev. It is also leaving the coalition with "We Continue the Change" - "Democratic Bulgaria" in the Sofia Municipality. "The administration of Sofia does not have a clear vision and clear goals. People expected change, but they got a replacement," Bonev said and added that "the governance of the capital lacks leadership." According to him, the party's patience ran out a few days ago with the election of the new chief architect of Sofia, Bogdana Panayotova. "A dubious chief architect was appointed, who is proven to be working for over-construction, while the presented budget for 2025 completely ignores investments in the residential areas," Bonev pointed out. He promised that "Save Sofia", will continue to support policies it agrees with.
