President Radev is taking on the role of opposition leader, says Finance Minister

Bulgarian President Rumen Radev has long been involved in the political life of the country, and now he wants to take on the role of opposition leader. This was stated by Finance Minister Temenuzhka Petkova in Targovishte.

"After nearly four years of rule by the "Radev" model (the official governments appointed by Radev - ed.), we know what it led to - a hole in the budget of 18 billion leva, destabilized public finances and a contract with the Turkish company "Botas", concluded during the government of President Radev, on the basis of which 1.50 million leva go to Turkey every day. This is the "Radev" model. We have all witnessed this model over the years," said Petkova.

Earlier today, the President commented on the first 100 days of the government of Rosen Zhelyazkov as follows: "There is no 100 days of the "Zhelyazkov" cabinet, but a new beginning of the "Boyko Borisov" model. And the reality is that instead of the "Zhelyazkov" cabinet, we have a government of Peevski and Borisov, and not for 100 days, for a year, and it is a completely natural spillover from the last caretaker government. That is why the most visible results are the seizure of elections, power and resources in an even more brutal way."
