Bulgarian National Bank issues commemorative silver coin with the image of Zahari Stoyanov

The Bulgarian National Bank is issuing a new silver commemorative coin from the “Bulgarian National Revival” series, the institution announced today. This time the coin is on the theme of “175 years since the birth of Zahari Stoyanov”.

The obverse of the coin depicts the emblem of the BNB, the year of issue, the nominal value of 10 leva and a stylized ornament of a crossed sword and feather. On its reverse is the image of Bulgarian revolutionary, politician, journalist and writer Zahari Stoyanov.

The price of the coin when it is put into circulation is 162 leva, and its circulation is 4 thousand pieces.
