''The parliamentary group of GERB-SDS considers the first 100 days of the "Zhelyazkov" cabinet a success and declares its support for the government’s work during the current session of the National Assembly'', MP Toma Bikov said in a statement from the parliamentary rostrum.
"The two votes of no-confidence have highlighted two important facts. The only alternative to the current government is a political crisis. The formations supporting the votes of no-confidence lack sufficient public support. Their inability to find common ground, apart from their shared opposition to the government, is evident. At this point, they can only serve as a corrective to the government, but they have no potential to form their own", Toma Bikov emphasized.
''The second fact is that there is a solid pro-European majority in parliament that cannot define itself or act cohesively in times of geopolitical transformations that have an impact on Bulgarian society'', Toma Bikov added.
''The parliamentary group of GERB-SDS will maintain a balanced behaviour and will listen not only to their partners, but also to the opposition'', Toma Bikov said further.
