Weather remains warm with afternoon showers in the mountains

On Saturday, the lowest temperatures will range from 7°C to 12°C, around 8°C in Sofia. The weather will be mostly sunny during the day. Cumulus clouds will develop In the afternoon hours, but the chance of precipitation is low. Maximum temperatures will be between 23°C and 28°C, for Sofia around 24°C.

In the mountains, it will be mostly sunny in the morning. In the afternoon, scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected in some massifs in Western and Central Bulgaria. There will be moderate to strong northerly and northwesterly wind. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be around 16°C, at 2000 m around 8°C.

Along the Black Sea coast, the weather will be mostly sunny. In the afternoon, there will be temporary increases in cloud cover, but no precipitation is expected. There will be moderate easterly and northeasterly wind. Daytime highs will range from 14°C to 18°C. The sea water temperature is 13°C –14°C. Sea state 2–3 on the Beaufort scale.

On Sunday, the weather will remain unchanged. In the afternoon, there is a chance of isolated showers in the mountains of Western Bulgaria. Daytime highs will be between 23°C and 28°C.
