Bulgaria wins gold in the Senior Group Cross Battles at the Rhythmic Gymnastics European Cup

Bulgaria won the gold medal in the Senior Group Cross Battles at the 2025 Rhythmic Gymnastics European Cup in Baku (Azerbaijan). Sofia Ivanova, Rachel Stoyanov, Alina Kolomiets, Suzan Pouladian, Danaya Atanasova and Viktoria Georgieva performed excellently and won the title. The silver medal went to Italy. Azerbaijan finished in third place. In the first phase, the Bulgarian rhythmic gymnasts outperformed Ukraine with their five ribbons routine. In the gold medal battle, they dominated all competitors with their three balls and two hoops routine.

This is Bulgaria's third gold medal, following the titles in the Junior Groups event and the Junior Individuals team competition. Bulgaria also won two bronze medals. Dara Malinova earned bronze in the clubs event, and Bulgaria’s Rhythmic Gymnastics Ensemble finished third in the five ribbons routine.
