The official start of the summer tourist season will be given on May 31 in Bulgaria's coastal resort Pomorie. By choosing the host city, the Ministry of Tourism focuses on promoting a diverse and sustainable tourist product, combining natural resources, cultural heritage and high quality of services, the ministry announced.

The start of the tourist season will be given with a large concert on the beach. The opening will be accompanied by a large-scale communication campaign with digital, radio and outdoor advertising.

“In 2025, for the first time, the Ministry of Tourism will also actively promote mountain tourism with a subsequent major event at the end of June in the heart of the Rhodope Mountains,” said Minister Miroslav Borshosh.

Within the framework of the two events, the ministry will present the main highlights and priorities for summer 2025 with a focus on security, the quality of tourist services and the promotion of Bulgaria as a preferred place for recreation and travel all 365 days a year.
