Weather forecast in Bulgaria for 13 May 2025

Slight drop in temperatures, rain showers expected on Tuesday

On Tuesday, over many areas, the cloudiness will temporarily decrease, but in the morning in places in the lowlands there will be short-term fog. Around and after noon, cumulus and cumulus-rainy clouds will develop. Mainly in Southwestern Bulgaria, around the Balkan mountains and the northeastern regions, there will be short-term precipitation with thunderstorms. In the evening, it will also rain in the extreme northwestern regions. A light to moderate northeasterly wind will blow. 

Minimum temperatures will be between 5°C and 10°C, in Sofia - around 7°C. Maximum temperatures will be between 15°C and 20°C, in Sofia - around 16°C.

In the mountains it will be mostly cloudy with rain, above about 2,000 meters - of snow. There will also be thunderstorms. A weak and moderate north-northeasterly wind will blow, on the highest peaks of Rila and Pirin Mountains - a northwesterly wind. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be about 9°C, at 2,000 meters – about 2°C.

Along the Black Sea coast it will be mostly sunny, after lunch with temporary increases in cloudiness, but only in isolated places along the northern coastline it will rain. A moderate northeasterly wind will blow. The maximum temperatures will be 15°-17°C. The sea water temperature is at 14°C-16°C.
