Opera prima Gabriela Georgieva is the "Musician of the Year 2024" in the national poll of the classical music show "Allegro Vivace" on the Bulgarian National Radio. The soloist of the Sofia Opera is among the leading sopranos in Bulgaria. Gabriela Georgieva has performed at international music festivals and in opera performances on world music stages.

The awards were presented at a ceremony in Studio One of the Bulgarian National Radio. The gala concert was held under the auspices of National Assembly Speaker Natalia Kiselova.

The Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra won the award "Ensemble of the Year 2024". The musicians read a protest declaration against the underfunding of BNR and their insultingly low salaries.

The "Music Educator of 2024" award went to opera prima Raina Kabaivanska. One of her talented students, soprano Aleksandrina Mihaylova, received the "Young Musician of the Year 2024" award. The wife of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Desislava Radeva, presented the "Music Instead of the Street" award to long-time music educator Radka Kuseva. Finally, talented 17-year-old pianist Ivaylo Vasilev received the special "Olga Kamburova" prize in support of a young musician. The recipient of this award is selected by the team of the Allegro Vivace show.
