Weather forecast for May 14

The weather remains changeable

During the night, in places in Western and Central Bulgaria there will be precipitation, more intense around and after midnight in the Rila-Rhodope region and in the western part of Stara Planina. In some places thunderstorms are possible. The wind will be weak from the northwest. The lowest temperatures will be between 3°C and 8°C, in Sofia - around 5°C.

On Wednesday, over many areas the cloudiness will temporarily decrease, but in the morning in places in the valleys there will be short-term fog. In the afternoon cumulus clouds will form. Mainly in Southwestern Bulgaria, in Stara Planina and in the northeastern regions there will be short-term precipitation with thunderstorms. The wind will be light from the west-southwest. The highest temperatures will be between 15° and 20°C; in Sofia - around 16°C.

In the mountains, sunny weather will prevail in the morning. Cumulus and cumulus-rainy clouds will form in the afternoon, and in many places there will be short-term precipitation and thunderstorms. At 1800-2000 meters above sea level, the rain will turn into snow. There will be moderate, temporarily strong wind from the west-northwest. The highest temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be about 11°C, at 2000 meters - about 3°C.

At the Black Sea coast, the cloudiness will temporarily decrease, but in the morning in isolated places there will be short-term fog. In the afternoon, mainly along the northern part of coast, there will be short-term rain showers with thunderstorms. The highest temperatures will reach 16°-17°C. Sea water temperature is 14°-16°.
