Bulgarian entrepreneurs arrange the employment of workers from Uzbekistan

The Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association (BICA) and the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan have signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of labor migration. The document lays the foundations for a long-term partnership between the two countries aimed at facilitating and regulating the employment of workers from Uzbekistan in Bulgaria, reads a statement from BICA.

"Bulgarian businesses need both seasonal workers in tourism and services, as well as qualified specialists in sectors such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and electronics", emphasized Rumen Radev, Chairman of the Managing Board of the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association.

According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and the Bulgarian Employment Confederation, approximately 15,000 citizens of Uzbekistan are already working in Bulgaria, reported BTA.
