Weather forecast for May 23

Temperature reaches up to 29°C on Friday

Friday will be mostly sunny. Cumulus clouds will form in the afternoon and in many places there will be short-term, temporarily intense precipitation - significant in the Danube Plain and Eastern Bulgaria. Temperatures will rise and the highest will reach 24°-29°C; in Sofia - around 24°C.

In the mountains it will be mostly sunny in the morning but cumulus clouds will form in the afternoon. In many places there will be short-term, temporarily intense precipitation. There will be moderate to strong southwesterly wind. The highest temperature at an altitude of 1200 m will be around 18°C; at 2000 m - around 12°C.

Sunny weather will prevail at the Black Sea coast with temporary increases in cloudiness. Rainfall is expected in some places along the northern part of the coast. There will be weak to moderate southeasterly wind. The highest temperatures will be between 21° and 24°C and sea water temperature is 12° to 17°C.
