Over the next 24 hours, a Mediterranean cyclone passing through the Aegean Sea will cause unstable weather in Bulgaria. It will be mostly cloudy with heavy, widespread rainfall. Moderate winds will blow from the north-northwest and from the northeast in the east of the country. Maximum temperatures will range widely, from 8-10°C in the west to 20-22°C in the southeast and along the Black Sea coast.
There will be fog and clouds in the mountains, and it will rain heavily in many places. Snow is expected above 2000 metres. Strong northwesterly winds will blow, with temporary, stormy southwesterly winds on the ridges which will also shift to northwesterly in the evening.
