“We often say that Bulgaria extends as far as there are Bulgarians. In order for these spiritual borders of Bulgaria to be vibrant and strong, there must be a strong connection with our compatriots abroad”, said President Rumen Radev in the town of Varshets (Northwestern Bulgaria), where he took part in the 20th World Meeting of Bulgarian Media.

President Radev expressed gratitude to the journalists for their efforts to maintain the connection between Bulgarian communities abroad and their homeland. Some of the attending journalists invited Bulgaria’s head of state to visit the countries where they live and work. Rumen Radev gratefully accepted the invitations and expressed readiness for future meetings with Bulgarian communities abroad, reported BTA.
