Weather forecast: Sun and rain on Saturday

Saturday will get off to a sunny start in Eastern and in some isolated regions of Western Bulgaria. Over the rest of the country there will be considerable clouds. There will be rain over Central Bulgaria and over the Western half of the country. The rain will be heavier in parts of Southwestern Bulgaria. Maximum temperatures 20-25° C., for Sofia around 20° C.

Over the mountains cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds will form, and mostly over the Western half of the country there will be showers, heavier rain is in the forecast over the mountains of Southwestern Bulgaria. There will be a moderate wind from the North-Northeast. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. around 13° C., at 2,000 m around 7° C.

Over the Black Sea coast the weather will be predominantly sunny until midday; there will be significant clouds over the Southern portion of the coastline. At around midday and in the afternoon there will be a significant increase of clouds but no rain is in the forecast. Maximum temperature 19-23° C., temperature of the sea water 16-19° C., sea state 2-3.
