Bulgaria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has called on Bulgarians in Iran to immediately leave the country due to the escalation of tensions in the region. Those who need to remain in the country should report their location and planned duration of stay as soon as possible to the embassy's telephone numbers, as well as to the e-mail address of the Consular Service in Tehran: consulate.tehran@mfa.bg.

If necessary, Bulgarian citizens can contact the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Tehran at phone numbers: + 9821 88775037 and +9821 8877 5662 or by e-mail еmbassy.tehran@mfa.bg, as well as in an emergency and after-hours on mobile tel.: +98 9305683409.

The call comes after the escalation of the security situation in the last hours after the Israeli air strikes against Iranian nuclear sites.
