Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 20 June 2025

Temperatures will drop, rainfall expected on Friday

On Friday, the minimum temperatures will be from 15 to 21°C, in Sofia - around 17°C. It will be sunny before noon. Cumulus and cumulus-rainy cloudiness will develop around and after noon. In many places, mainly in Southern and Eastern Bulgaria, there will be short-term rain showers and thunderstorms. There will be conditions for hail. The wind from the northwest, in the eastern regions from the northeast, will temporarily strengthen, will be moderate and with it relatively cool air will invade. 
Daytime highs on Friday will be between 29 and 34°C, in the capital - 29°C.
It will be mostly sunny in the mountains. Around and after noon cumulus cloudiness will develop and in many places there will be short-term rain showers and thunderstorms. There are conditions for hail. A moderate, temporarily strong wind will blow from the north-northwest. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. will be about 23°C, at 2,000 meters - about 14°C.

Along the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast In some places it will rain and thunder. A moderate northeasterly wind will blow, which will weaken and orient itself from the east-southeast. The maximum air temperatures will be from 24 to 29°C. The sea water temperature is 22-23°C. 

On Saturday there will be sunny hours, but cumulus-rainy clouds will develop. In places in Central Bulgaria and the Stara Planina mountain there will be precipitation, accompanied by thunder.
