On the longest weekend of the year - June 20-22, Sofia will host the Summer in KvARTal Festival. The entire Sofia Triaditsa Street will become a pedestrian zone for the event from June 20 to 22, BTA reported.

"The heart of old Sofia will become a lively stage for music, dance, culture, flavors and urban rhythm. Come celebrate the beginning of summer the way only KvARTal can - under the open sky, with a free spirit, open streets and smiles, where the city comes alive. Our neighbors, our favorite spaces and our most loyal partners have prepared everything - from live music, art installations and exhibitions to special menus, themed walks and creative workshops for young and old," the festival team says.

In addition to Triaditsa Street, Serdika - in its upper part before Dondukov Blvd. - will become a cultural passage, and the main stage of the festival with a musical program from sunrise to dusk will take place in the parking lot in front of the National Gallery.

Exarch Joseph Street will be the dance heart of the festival - with swing dancing, street tours and an atmosphere that will bring us back to the romance of old Sofia with a modern twist.
