A new medical equipment manufacturing center of the Czech company BTL Industries has opened in Plovdiv. The event was attended by President Rumen Radev, who emphasized that "the excellent relations between Bulgaria and the Czech Republic at the highest political level are a strong incentive for deepening the bilateral trade and economic partnership".

The company is a world leader in the development, production, trade and service of modern medical equipment. Its new production base in Bulgaria will provide over 700 jobs for highly qualified specialists and is the company's only logistics center, from which over 40,000 medical devices are sent annually to over 120 countries around the world, the press service of the presidency reported.

The ceremony was also attended by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Bulgaria Miroslav Toman, the Chairman of the Bulgarian-Czech Chamber of Commerce Maxim Behar and others.
