SOS Children's Villages Bulgaria mark 35 years

35 years have passed since the establishment of the Association "SOS Children's Villages Bulgaria"

On this occasion, President Rumen Radev will visit the village of Dren, Radomir Municipality, where he will participate in the celebration of the anniversary, the press center of the head of state announced. 

"SOS Children's Villages Bulgaria" is the first civil human rights organization in the country, which is part of SOS Children's Villages International. Since 1990, the association has been providing family care for children at risk, providing them with the necessary conditions for their development and growth.

As part of the event, Bulgarian chess player Nurgyul Salimova will play chess simultaneously on 35 boards.

In addition to the Bulgarian head of state, talented children and young people, as well as representatives of local and regional governments, prominent journalists, athletes, musicians and actors will participate in the chess game.
