On 29 June, the Bulgarian Orthodox Church ‘St. George the Victorious’ in Orlando, Florida, will celebrate the Day of the Holy First Apostles Peter and Paul with a festive liturgy.

The Orlando church community is part of the Bulgarian Eastern Orthodox Diocese in the USA, Canada, and Australia, which is itself part of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church. Fr. Atanas Megerov has been the parish priest since his appointment on 16 October 2016, with the blessing of Metropolitan Joseph, who was then the vicar of His Eminence Bishop Daniil (now Bulgarian Patriarch Daniil). Since then, regular services have been held every Sunday.

Founded on 22 October 2009, the church is located at 1185 Bunnell Road, Altamonte Springs, Florida 32714.

BTA recalls that on 20 October 2024, a new church property belonging to the Bulgarian Orthodox community was consecrated in Orlando, on 1st Avenue in Altamonte Springs.
