"Tango Classic" is the name of the newest fascinating project of the Pleven Philharmonic Orchestra with virtuoso instrumentalists Vesko Eschkenazy (violin) and Stoyan Karaivanov (bandoneon). Together with the musicians of the Pleven Philharmonic Orchestra, they take the audience on an unforgettable tango experience.
In an arrangement for violin, bandoneon and chamber orchestra, works written by Mozart, Mendelssohn, Osvaldo Pugliese, Astor Piazzolla, and film music will be performed on the stages of Bulgaria, the Pleven Philharmonic announced.
The project will be presented in a number of cities - on July 8 in Tsarevo and just a day later - in Burgas. Concerts in Karnobat (July 10) and Pomorie (July 11) follow. On July 15, tango will be performed at the "Stage of the Centuries" festival in Veliko Tarnovo and then in Sliven (July 16), Yambol (July 17) and Shabla (July 21). The summer cycle ends on July 22 in Varna. Two more concerts are scheduled in December - in Kostenets (December 8) and Sofia (December 10).
