“Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski’s narrative will be left to those familiar with Aesop’s fables,” Bulgarian Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov commented in Rome, where he attended the Fourth Ukraine Recovery Conference. “North Macedonia must adhere to the consensus reached in 2022 and fulfill the commitments it has made,” Zhelyazkov added.

His remarks were in response to Mickoski’s offensive language directed at the Bulgarian foreign minister.

“Our colleague Mickoski must find a way to apologize,” Zhelyazkov advised.
