Bulgarica Cultural Center in Chicago

The Bulgarica Cultural Center in Chicago has sent an invitation on its Facebook page to support the Bulgarian participation during the celebration of cultures in Chicago. “We invite you again to join us at the celebration – Mount Prospect Celebration of Cultures 2025. For the fifth time in a row, we, from the Bulgarica Dance Company, will be honored to represent Bulgaria on one stage together with performers from various other communities,” the announcement reads.

The event will take place on August 23 between 11:00 and 16:00 local time.

During the event, there will also be a Bulgarian booth, where folklore objects and items will be displayed. The festival will also offer culinary delights, handicrafts and cultural booths from each represented country, informs Bulgarica.

The Mount Prospect Celebration of Cultures is an annual multicultural festival organized by the Mount Prospect Municipality to honor the cultural diversity of the local community. The event is a celebration of the traditions, music, cuisine, art and presence of different ethnicities living in the area.
