Citibank to finance new units 7 and 8 at Bulgaria's Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant

Bulgaria has agreed to provide financing for the construction of units 7 and 8 of the Kozloduy NPP, the Ministry of Energy announced.

A delegation led by Energy Minister Zhecho Stankov held final talks with Citibank management in New York.

Units 7 and 8 will be the first reactors in Europe to operate with Westinghouse's AP1000 technology, the Ministry of Energy emphasized.
