Fake sites offer vignettes with prices in euros and charge high fees

In the midst of the active summer season, when the number of travellers in the country is increasing, unlicensed web sites sell vignettes at high prices.  The prices are misleadingly displayed only in euros and high additional fees are charged. This is what the national provider of electronic toll services "Intelligent Traffic Systems" warns about.

The company urges drivers not to buy vignettes from unauthorized sites and adds that using unlicensed platforms also creates a risk of incorrect data entry and lack of a valid vignette on time. The sites of "Intelligent Traffic Systems" are Vinetki.bg and TollPass.bg. In them, the prices of the vignettes are indicated in levs and in euros in accordance with the requirements related to the upcoming introduction of the single European currency in this country.
