Guitar gods Joe Satriani and Steve Vai to ignite Sofia tonight

Two of the most iconic names in instrumental rock—Joe Satriani and Steve Vai—are bringing their electrifying new project, the SatchVai Band, to Sofia this evening. The performance, part of their Surfing with the Hydra Tour 2025, will take place in Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture (NDK), promising an unforgettable night for guitar lovers and rock aficionados alike.


The tour marks a rare convergence of two virtuosos whose influence spans generations. According to organizers, fans can expect “a powerhouse performance blending jaw-dropping solos with soul-stirring compositions”—a celebration of the groundbreaking legacy that Satriani and Vai have carved into rock history.
