President Rumen Radev expressed his appreciation of Great Britain’s support for Bulgaria in guarding the EU’s external borders. President Radev met with the British ambassador to Bulgaria Nathaniel Copsey, the Bulgarian news agency BTA reports. The two discussed the deepening of bilateral cooperation in combatting illegal immigration and international organized crime. President Radev and Ambassador Copsey also discussed the two countries’ fruitful partnership within NATO, as well as security in the Black Sea, the consolidation of the rule of law and the independence of the judiciary.
