"Peace Bell" march passes through Bulgaria on its way to Jerusalem

A march called "Peace Bell" passes through Bulgaria. The initiative is from the German union of the same name. The participants firmly believe that ordinary people should make every effort to preserve peace, in times when there are many wars and politicians talk about war. This was told by one of the organizers, Andreas Kunka, for BTA in Kozloduy.

The group of about 20 people, 5 white horses and 4 ponies, set off on May 8 from the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. They carry a bell cast from military cartridges and bronze. It depicts a dove and the word peace in various languages, including Bulgarian.

"We have already crossed Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Romania and are passing through Bulgaria. We will continue through Turkey, Syria, Jordan to reach Jerusalem," explained Ines Witter from Berlin.

The procession will cover about 5,000 km. The initiative is financed by donations and funds from the volunteers themselves.
